How far and where do I need to walk/run each day?
You and your teammates will set expectations and support each other to complete 1300 kms over the 19 days of the Virtual Challenge.
You can split this up within your team however you like, with some doing more and some less if that works for your team. The more people you have in your team, the less distance each team member needs to travel.
Some teams will be only a few participants who push really hard, covering huge distances in remarkably short times. Others will be larger teams who will encourage each other to complete the daily distances and support them when the going gets tough.
As a guide, if you have 10 people in your team, each could do about 6-7 kms per day to achieve your goal. Or, with 20 people in your team, you could each do 3-4 kms per day.
This is a Virtual Challenge so you can walk/run anywhere. Really. Anywhere in the world.
Participants in the Virtual Challenge will be walking/running in their local communities, on a treadmill, to work and in local events.
